In conjunction, or maybe alongside my hotel postings im undertaking another look at something in Auckland CBD. This being Cafes and their fare. This are not limited to upmarket or full cafes either.
I will be also commenting on my favourite coffee being Moccachinos, and how they taste at different places. Also what nice food these places have.
First up place that is a relatively new place but heres 1 to start off with:
ME Cafe - Albert St: Opposite district Court, you can't miss it.
This place is small, new but excellent service. The thing about the coffee is it is roasted by the owner!!! So his own blend.
Moccachino ...Nice!
Hollywood Bakery (Atrium on Elliot):
Nice food including for Coffee Cake lovers
Coffee Sponge Roll.
And Chocolate Log...With Real fresh cream and Butter icing.
Moccachinos...Nice!
Continental Express: (Britomart Transport Centre):
Moccachinos...Nice!
And also good price for part of the day on their coffees. Down on the train platform area this is.
They also have a place upstairs across from subway.

What Women Like
Now this post is another kind of tips or help guide for you guys as to a few things what women like.
These things do not and are not always what you expect or expensive. Sometimes its the inexpensive gifts that say a lot. Some are surprising but informative also ok. So please feel free to contact me about any questions further to this post ok.
Heres some tips to help you ok:
- The ocassional bunch of flowers is nice and dont have to cost the earth ( no going and raiding the neighbours garden either).
- A bottle of wine is always well received, and if your able to ask what sort the lady likes so its easy for you to get the right one. And who knows your kindness maybe repaid by the lady preparing a cheese and cracker or salami platter to enjoy with the bottle of wine.
- A lunch out and this can be a restaurant or even just a cafe near the water. Even a nice meal of fish and chips seaside is nice for a change. (Who knows you may be lucky enough to have a lady who invests in an Entertainment Book).
- Nicely manicured fingernails for playing in a certain place is always seen as going just that extra mile and is showing you actually have thought about where you are playing. I will endeavour to find a few places who will provide this service to you guys. Along with pedicures.
- Colours in clothing is always cool so think outside the square occasionally. Try and vary the browns, blacks, greys with at least a splash of colour.
- If your budget allows maybe some perfume would be nice but its good to ask or even better try and note what sort your lady prefers, then you know which one to get. This also doesn't have to be the biggest bottle.
- Who knows even tickets to a rugby game or the races may surprise you as being a well received gift.
- Also even just cuddles, and spending time together with walks on the beach or viaduct, etc with coffee is nice, simple things say a lot sometimes.
- Be observant where ever possible with what the lady already likes and uses is always handy as gifts are always appreciated.
- Also if you just don't know what sort of thing she uses or has, gift vouchers are always acceptable.
-Just another tip to help you lads as I have found that some need a little help in this area STILL. Is we like politeness, in particular unless you have meet someone it is ALWAYS polite to PHONE the person first. Never text them on initial contact. I do of course realise most already know this but yes there are still some out there that need a little help in this area ok. So for the already "on to it" ones of you I say a BIG Thank You. And hope this tip helps the ones of you that need this little gem of a tip.
So I hope these few tips help and as I research this some more I will add other tips for you lads ok.

Beautiful Auckland
As an overseas visitor Auckland is beautiful place to share with your partner or wife. If you feel like doing your own thing there are many activities you can enjoy. Play a round of golf, take a bush walk , go for a sail or just spend a pleasant hour getting a relaxing massage or other personal attention.

Devonport
Fine wine, food and sand: just five minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland. This is where you will find the seaside village of Devonport. Filled with a myrad of eclectic Shops, Restaurants, Bars, Cafes, and a well stocked Supermarket for all your picnic and harbor cruise outings. Devonport also has a rich naval history and a trip to the naval museum is also something different. Also why not try a horse-drawn carraige ride along the waterfront. Devonport also once a year holds an annual Wine and Food festival which is well patronised with varying wines and food and entertainment for a whole weekend.
Just Around the bay is Stanley Point site of rainbow warrior escapees cliff climb.
So stop a while to enjoy seaside Devonport and all it has to offer.
