Special Interests

Special Interests: These could include anything you are particularly interested to see such as:

Flora and Fauna may like Botanic Gardens

Boating Trips

These trips could include Fishing Charters, Sailing Charters, Island Trips to Vineyards or Sightseeing spots(like top of Rangitoto) To view Hauraki Gulf and back to Auckland sights and up to Hibiscus Coast. Also up to Leigh and the Marine Reserve at Goat Island. Our waters around Auckland and beyond are very safe thanks to our local Coastguards who look after us and our waters. So if its either on the water enjoying our sea life, or in it for a swim as we have many safe beaches. This option may be to your liking. So don't hesitate to contact me.

Lunch and Dinner Spots

Lunch and Dinner spots in Auckland are many and varied as is our city. If you fancy a nice Kebab you will find a nice Foodhall located on Albert Street. And for Asian fare try Commerce Street. For Seafood try down by the Auckland Fish Markets,to a small Restaurant with lovely food, staff and fast,efficient service. And if its a BYO Restaurant head for a nice wine shop on Customs Street outside Downtown Shopping Mall. For Restaurant Dining these also are many and varied all over Auckland. Just ask me which area and which are nice and I will recommend some ok.

Clubs, Bars in Auckland

Auckland has many Clubs and Bars for all walks of life to enjoy. Whatever type of music or activities you are into can be catered for. Jazz, Rock, Country and Western, Modern, Adult. A Day at The Races

Maybe its a trip to the races that you would like. This can be arranged. Ellerslie or other tracks is ok. Experience the thrill of the horses and maybe pick up some winnings who knows. And enjoy a nice lunch and beverages while your horses steal home for the win. Also check out your picks as the parade in the parade ring. A most enjoyable outing. this can be a day trip or all day outing with nearby hotel stay. So if you need a "Gee up" outing this maybe to your liking. So just contact me.

West Auckland

West Auckland is best known for its local wineries Coopers Creek(Gold Medal winners in this years Wine Awards), and Soljans are just 2 of these that do tours and jazz sundays to chill out with and taste some local award-winning vintages. Bayswater

Bayswater is a small suburb famous for its "Son of Sailing" home town boy Sir Peter Blake. It is but a short ferry ride across the water from Auckland CBD. Also has a lovely marina. And also sports a sailing club for our budding young sailors.

East Coast Bays

East Coast Bays:
These Bays follow the east coast around up to Long Bay Regional Park.
Firstly there is Castor Bay with a small but pleasant beach and park, Then onto Campbells Bay with a clifftop park. Then its onto Mairangi Bay is another seaside village with supermarket and Numerous cafes and restaurants, Exclusive boutiques. Also for a nice clifftop stroll around to the next Bay which is Murrays Bay, you may like to take the "Crows Nest Rise Walk". Murrays Bay is another excellent swimming beach and sports is own Boating Club. Also there is an Arts Centre for any budding artists to visit. Then its on to Rothesay Bay another good swimming beach. then its on to Browns Bay which has many and varied activities. It has a nice palm -lined streets of shops to wander through and cafes, restaurants supermarkets. Parks, RSA, Bowling club, Rugby club. It also has a for car enthusiasts a very good paint workshop for customised cars if your into this sport. Then its onto Waiake and Torbay 2 more good swimming and relaxing beaches. Then lastly but no means least its Long Bay with it also excellent swimming beach and also sports a very large Regional Park and by the beach are also barbecues for public use if site is booked before hand. Very nice family spot.

Milford

Milford is but a short walk along the beach from Takapuna and hosts its own Marina and Boat Building Business and Boating Club with nice sandy beach and park-like setting. It also has some nice real estate to stroll past. Also 2 supermarkets for those picnic lunches with all manner of delicacy's and beverages. Great for beach for swimming and park is good to let the kids run around in or hit a cricket ball or toss a rugby ball around.
So do take in the sites of Milford on your stops to the North Shore

Takapuna Beach

Takapuna is a city on the North Shore of Auckland. It is a seaside city with many features including boating Club, Bars, Many and varied ethnic restaurants. Sporting clubs of various sports, Business Centres. It even sports its own castle. And be sure to look out for the "Kings Throne" as strolling along from Takapuna to Milford Beach. Past some very nice real estate.
Also for a restful sunday morning stroll Takapuna Beach hosts a local market with flower, produce, clothing, food, toys, etc stalls. Also after the market that runs from early morning till 12pm lunchtime there are very good cafes on Hurstmere Road behind the market to enjoy a much rejuvenating cup of freshly brewed coffee and tasty brunch items.
So take time out to enjoy Takapuna Beach which its many and varied activities at any pace you care to enjoy.
