For Seafood try down by the Auckland Fish Markets,to a small Restaurant with lovely food, staff and fast,efficient service. And if its a BYO Restaurant head for a nice wine shop on Customs Street outside Downtown Shopping Mall. For Restaurant Dining these also are many and varied all over Auckland. A Day at The Races

Maybe its a trip to the races that you would like. This can be arranged. Ellerslie or other tracks is ok. Experience the thrill of the horses and maybe pick up some winnings who knows. And enjoy a nice lunch and beverages while your horses steal home for the win. Also check out your picks as the parade in the parade ring.
